Collaborative Grants

City of Vincent Collaborative Grants aim to establish partnerships between the City and service delivery agencies that reside and/or operate within our local community. Each year, we select a new area of focus to address important issues that arise in the community.

2017/18 Grants

The City of Vincent has allocated the 2017/18 Collaborative Grant funding towards homeless service provision, a rising issue within the community.

The City has awarded three local organisations with a grant to assist their work in the area of homelessness.

“Last year we wanted to do something to address the rising issue of homelessness in the City of Vincent and initiated a new grants program focused on building partnerships with organisations who can address this issue. We are thrilled to be able to expand on the project again this year,” said Mayor Emma Cole.

“We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with three worthy recipients of our Collaborative Grants; the Salvation Army Lincoln Street Outreach Centre, Perth Inner City Youth Services and the Ladder Project Foundation.”

The Salvation Army Lincoln Street Outreach Centre's grant will be used to develop referral pathways and support services for homeless people, or people at risk of becoming homeless, with a focus on women and children.

The Perth Inner City Youth Services grant will be used to develop a system of support for transgender people who are vulnerable to homelessness and associated issues.

The Ladder Project Foundation are leaders in youth mentoring and will be using the grant to help develop programs that will provide opportunities to young people so they can unleash their talents and build a future free of homelessness.
