Sustainable Environment Strategy

The City recently adopted a new Sustainable Environment Strategy. This strategy updates and replaces the previous Sustainable Environment Strategy 2011-2016.

It includes bold but realistic targets across five key focus areas – energy, transport, water, waste and urban greening and biodiversity. The targets relate to the community as well as City operations and they are backed up by a comprehensive implementation plan.
