CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES FOR SENIORS

Vincent is home to a variety of groups, clubs and activities tailored to older members of our community. Joining a regular activity can help keep individuals active, foster a sense of belonging, and combat social isolation. 

Tech savvy seniors 

City of Vincent Library 

Vincent Library aims to provide lasting, technology training to people of all ages. The training sessions are free and open to all ages and all abilities.  

Regular events take place in the library with library staff and professionals from trusted organisations. Offering attendees, the chance to elect one new digital skill to learn at each class with your phone, tablet or laptop. Visit the Library website for more information.

Seniors Recreation Council of WA 

The City of Vincent partners with Seniors Recreation Council of WA each year to host Tech Savvy Expo.  

The Seniors Recreation Council of WA provide free Tech Savvy Seniors Resources and can offer support for seniors wishing to stay connected with friends and family. Learn cyber safety tips and more with the monthly newsletters or attend an in-person workshop.

Active Seniors  

The Energywise exercise program at Beatty Park Leisure Centre is designed to help people over 50s to improve your physical while giving you the chance to socialise with like-minded people. The 1-hour session is available twice a week.  

The program involves cross-training techniques in the water and on land, allowing you to try a range of different classes in a safe, supervised and supportive environment. 

Seniors can save 20% off full access memberships (with a valid Senior/Pensioner card) or can take advantage of our Off-Peak membership. 

Chair Yoga and Aqua Fitness Classes are also available at Beatty Park Leisure Centre.
