Community Engagement Panel 

The City has established a Community Engagement Panel to provide ongoing input into major projects, plans and strategies. 

The Panel consists of between 40 and 50 Panel members who reflect the City’s broader demographic profile.  

The principles of the community engagement panel are as follows: 

• The panel will be constituted in a fair and transparent manner.
• Their voice will be heard and facilitated in an impartial manner.
• Council will give serious consideration to the recommendations of the panel.
• They will be appropriately supported during the process and their participation valued. 

The panels primary objectives of the panel are to provide a community voice and help guide decision making on major projects, plans and strategies.
