Why We Cycle

Why We Cycle digs deeper into the social, economic and psychological motivators for bike riding in the world's number one cycling country. This one hour documentary takes a ride with ordinary bike riders and specialists from a variety of academic disciplines, uncovering some obvious, but even more hidden effects of cycling, on people, on societies, and on the organisation of cities.

Why We Cycle isn’t just for bike lovers. It’s film that has genuine mainstream appeal for anyone interested in issues such as cities, community building, environmental sustainability, social equity and human interaction.
