The City of Vincent has received grant funding from Main Roads to undertake the resurfacing of Oxford Street, between Leederville Parade and Vincent Street, which is a key part of the City’s road maintenance program and is required every 15 to 20 years..

That means this section of Oxford Street, between Leederville Parade and Vincent Street, will experience road closures on the following dates in August 2021:

  • 6:30am to 4pm from Tuesday 3 August until Tuesday 17 August.
This will be day works with partial road closures and vehicle access under traffic control.

  • 8pm to 6:30am on Wednesday 18 August and Thursday 19 August.
This will be night works with full road closures and detours in place..

Traffic management will also be arranged to help drivers navigate the area and works will not be undertaken during weekends, unless absolutely necessary to the completion of the project.

Parking at the three major precinct carparks will be unaffected by the works and Oxford St will be accessible to pedestrians, meaning you can still visit your favourite boutiques, restaurants and cafes that will be open and ready to serve you.

For more information about the works you can call 9273 6000 or email mail@vincent.wa.gov.au
