Tree Selection Tool - Community Workshop

Past Event

Are you passionate about trees in the City of Vincent?

Join our community workshop to learn about the City’s new tree selection tool for City streetscapes and also private developments.

When it comes to selecting trees for City streetscapes, there are many different views in our community on what tree species are the most suitable.

To make tree selection more objective, transparent and efficient, we are developing a tree selection tool, which will take into account environmental factors and tree characteristics, to identify suitable trees for our variety of streetscapes.

A master list of trees will form the basis of the tree selection tool and we want your input into what should be on the list!

Date: Thursday 23 November

Time: 6pm to 8pm

Location: City of Vincent Function Room – 244 Vincent Street, Leederville

If you are unable to attend the workshop but would still like to provide input, please contact Sarah Hill and an information and comment pack will be provided. The deadline for comments is 30 November 2017.

If you would like to register for the workshop, or would like additional information, please contact Sarah Hill, Project Officer – Parks & Environment, on 9273 6000 or sarah.hill@vincent.wa.gov.au
