The City of Vincent is seeking community feedback on proposed amendments to the Diversity, Access and Inclusion Policy.

A recent review has resulted in several changes to bring the policy in line with Vincent’s Access and Inclusion Plan 2022-2027, as well as to support staff in delivering accessible and inclusive services to our community.

The draft policy includes changes to areas such as:

• policy name
• terminology
• broadening the scope of physical accessibility
• recognising communication disability
• updating principles to reflect the needs of diverse communities and current best practice.

Community consultation is open until Thursday 16 November 2023.
