Vincent’s Rainbow Picnic returns for a second year to celebrate love and families in all their diversity at Hyde Park this November.
The free family-friendly event will be held on Sunday, 9 November from 2 - 5pm, part of PrideFEST 2025, and proudly supported by Lotterywest.
Rainbow Picnic offers something for everyone with free kids’ activities, mini golf, glitter bar, photobooth, craft activities, facepainting and exciting stage schedule featuring ZAP Circus, Queency, DJ Her Highness and the pawsome John Carey Pride Dog Show. Local LGBTIQA+ providers, clubs and organisations including Rainbow Futures WA, Perth Pride Choir, Youth Pride Network, Loton Park Tennis Club and many more will also showcase their services.
Whether you came last year or are new to the celebration, Rainbow Picnic invites everyone to bring their picnic blanket and good vibes for an afternoon filled with pride, colour and inclusion.
“The City of Vincent is proud to stand with the LGBTIQA+ community. We are committed to fostering a city where everyone feels safe, included, and celebrated,” said Mayor Alison Xamon.
“Rainbow Picnic is a wonderful opportunity for us all to come together, our Rainbow families and allies, and embrace the vibrancy of our diverse community. Vincent prides itself on being a safe and welcoming community, and this is a day to experience and to spread joy.”
The event is aligned with the City of Vincent’s Diversity, Access and Inclusion Policy, which aims to raise awareness and promote inclusion of the diversity of people in Vincent.
