Become a Heart Foundation Walking Group Organiser
Heart Foundation Walking is Australia's largest free walking network, helping people stay active, connect with others and improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Over 100,000 Australians have taken part in the program over the past 25 years.
As a Walk Organiser, you'll lead a free, social walking group in your community. You decide when, where and how often your group walks.
What's involved?
- Complete a short online training session (15 minutes)
- Undertake a free National Police History Check
- Plan safe walking routes
- Welcome and support walkers
- Promote your group locally
- Log attendance each month
