Forrest Park Playground Upgrade

The playground at Forrest Park in North Perth is due for replacement. 

Forrest Park, on the corner of Walcott and Curtis streets, is a sports ground with floodlights and also an approved dog exercise area.

Project details 

Earlier this year, we asked for feedback on the play elements people would like to see in a new playground at Forrest Park in Mt Lawley.

The community told us they wanted the playground to be suitable for the 0-4yrs age group, with swings, climbing and slides in a tower/cubby layout. There was also a preference for mixed softfall if it affected the amount of play equipment available in the new playground.

This feedback is incorporated into two concept designs which we can now share with you.

Option One - multi activity learning

Suitable for ages 1yr+, has 19 activities and a capacity of 36.

Option Two - towers and tunnels

Suitable for ages 1yr+, has 36 activities and a capacity of 59.
