As part of our dedication to making our community inclusive, we want to give everyone a chance to hear our events. If you are deaf or hard of hearing and you're a Vincent resident you can book an Auslan interpreter for any of our events for free.

An interpreter can also be booked to assist you to discuss City of Vincent matters with a staff member.

Provided by Deaf Connect, you can rest assured that all interpreters hold a NAATI certification, maintain high professional standards, abide by ethical principles and constantly participate in professional development.

We love all languages, and we understand that sometimes it’s hard to get the message across. If it’s all sounding a bit confusing and you need a translator or a City of Vincent document interpreted, please call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) on 131 450.

From there, you can ask them to phone the City of Vincent on 08 9273 6000 between 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday for free. 

You can choose from phone interpreting services that can be provided right away or pre-booked, or onsite interpreters who can visit the City of Vincent which you’ll need to book in advance.

Inclusive Employment Australia

Inclusive Employment Australia is a specialist disability employment program. It assists people with disability, injury or health condition to prepare for, find and maintain work and grow their career. 

It replaced the Disability Employment Services (DES) program on 1 November 2025.  

The program places participants at the centre of the service. It improves and simplifies services for people looking for work, as well as for employers and service providers.
