Beatty Park ReSERVE

Major improvements are in the works at Beatty Park Reserve in North Perth. The project includes a new playground, toilet block/changeroom facility and irrigation systems.

Now Complete

Toilet block and changeroom facility

A public toilet and changeroom facility has been built next to the playground.

It includes two universal access toilets, a changeroom and storage area.

The toilet facing the playground is available to the public, while the second toilet, changeroom and storage area supports active reserve users and local sporting clubs.

This upgrade will bring more people to the space including girls and women soccer players and families who can now stay longer at their local park.

Exercise equipment

The outdoor exercise equipment at this reserve has been replaced.

This design has more of a cross-training, multi-functional focus. Aside from the rower, chest press and stepper, each feature offers a variety of exercise options, allowing flexibility for all fitness levels and circuit-style training.

New playground

In October 2024, we invited the community to share their thoughts on the Beatty Park Reserve playground project. You can find more details about this consultation on Imagine Vincent here.

The new playground incorporates more play equipment with a mixture of rubber soft fall and soft sand.

Designed for children aged 0–12, the playground offers 18 activities. The main attraction is the 25m sky rider, providing dynamic play for teenagers as requested in feedback, plus:

Premium multiplay units with a tunnel, poles, monkey bar, spider web, turbo slide, staircase, story panel, sand play zone and more
Triple swing
Lorikeet rocker

We've also added a barrier between the playground itself and the flying fox component.

Construction of the new playground was completed August 2025.
