Pack a picnic for an afternoon of fun for rainbow families, friends and allies.

As part of PrideFest 2025, Rainbow Picnic is back at Hyde Park to celebrate love in all its colours.

The event will offer free kids’ activities including mini golf, musical and sensory play, bracelet making and more! An exciting program of stage entertainment will be on throughout the afternoon, with a circus show from ZAP Circus! 

Local LGBTQIA+ providers, clubs and organisations will showcase their services. 

Bring along a picnic rug and BYO food or support the local food vendors.

With limited parking around Hyde Park, here are some tips to ensure a smooth journey:

Buses conveniently stop right outside Hyde Park, plan your journey here. 

Leave the car at home and use your bike or walk to Hyde Park.

Parking is limited around Hyde Park, so make the most of the carparks on Beaufort Street: Barlee Street, Chelmsford Street and Raglan-Road.
