Disability Access and Inclusion Advisory Group

The Disability Access and Inclusion Advisory Group (DAIAG) provides community insight to support the development of the City of Vincent’s next Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP). DAIAG brings people together with lived experience and expertise across physical, sensory, cognitive and psychosocial disability, those who support people with disability and people working in disability advocacy and service provision.

DAIAG plays an important role in helping the City identify issues, highlight opportunities and strengthen inclusive practices across services, programs, events, information and facilities. Members contribute practical perspectives to ensure the DAIP reflects community needs and supports equitable access for everyone who lives, works, studies or visits Vincent.

While the DAIAG is not a decision-making body, it provides valuable advice that informs the City’s planning and approach to disability access and inclusion, helping to guide meaningful and achievable actions.
