New look Leederville car park open to the public

Those visiting Leederville town centre now have more parking options following an upgrade to the car park at 629 Newcastle Street.

The recently completed car park, which was previously only available to Water Corporation staff, has 122 parking bays and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Water Corporation has been allocated 55 bays for their staff to use during business hours, with the remaining 67 bays available to the public.

All 122 bays are available to the public outside of business hours making it a convenient alternative to The Avenue and Frame Court car parks on weekends. Lighting at the car park has also been improved for safer parking at night.

You won’t need to line up at a machine for a ticket to display on your dashboard. For convenience, parking is paid through your phone using the EasyPark app.

Fees are the same as those at The Avenue and Frame Court - $1 for the first hour and $3.50 for each subsequent hour.

City of Vincent ratepayers can apply for ‘first hour free’.

The car park officially opened on Monday 1 September 2025.
