WA Reclink Community Cup
This much-adored charity football match is part of a national series that pits musicians against media and rolled out for the first time in WA in 2014.
The Cup celebrates Australia’s dynamic music and community broadcasting sectors while raising funds to help Reclink Australia provide sports, recreation, and arts opportunities for disadvantaged Australians.
This year Reclink Australia will be showcasing a special curtain raiser before the Bandgropers and Newshounds battle it out. There will be plenty of live music on the day, food and drink vans, kid’s activities including an animal farm, puppet making workshop with Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, mini golf, AFL clinics, face-painting - and much more!
Featuring players from a diverse array of local bands pitted against a motley ensemble of community music and radio stalwarts, media moguls, street press staff, and industry professionals, it is sure to be a great game!
