Adventure awaits at Vincent’s new playgrounds

Vincent’s young adventurers have three exciting new destinations to explore, with fun-filled playgrounds now open.

Edinboro Street Reserve in Mt Hawthorn, Beatty Park Reserve and Hyde Park East in North Perth are home to modern play equipment for children of all ages and abilities.

Inspired by nature, Edinboro Street Reserve has a 6m flying fox, slides, swings, a kookaburra rocker, and a bush story panel to spark big imaginations.

Beatty Park Reserve’s coastal-themed playground brings the beach to the suburbs, with a 25m flying fox, premium multi-play unit and lorikeet rocker.

Hyde Park East is built for the adventurous, with a rope course, rock wall, balance hoops and a web tunnel.

“We are excited to see our youngest residents and their friends check out the three newly finished playgrounds,” said Mayor Alison Xamon.

“Playgrounds are some of our most well-used facilities in Vincent, so we are delighted to offer a wide range of equipment that caters for toddlers, older thrill seekers and children with disability.

“I encourage all families to gather together and have some fun at our wonderful parks.”

Next in line are Brigatti Gardens, Britannia Road Reserve South and Hyde Street Reserve.

The community will have the opportunity to give feedback on their preferred designs via Imagine Vincent in the coming months.
