Last year 3,591 poppies were woven together to adorn a tree outside the Vincent Administration Building. This year, the project encourages residents, families, schools, sporting clubs and community groups to get involved by creating and displaying poppies, not only as part of the City’s installation, but also in homes and community spaces across Vincent.

There are plenty of ways to get involved in this year’s Poppy Project. Join a free workshop in the Vincent Library and Community Centre or request a poppy-making kit for your group, school, club or family.

Workshops are running from August to October and Poppy Making Kits can be requested until 11 September.

This year, we’d love to see poppies displayed right across the City or completed poppies can be dropped off at the Administration Building by Tuesday, 5 November.
