As part of our work to protect the urban tree canopy, Vincent will replace 23 Golden Robinia trees on Lord Street in Highgate with native species. 

The Golden Robinia trees located between Bulwer and Walcott streets are at risk from polyphagous shot-hole borer (PSHB), with the pest already detected in some trees and others considered at risk. 

The replacement trees will help maintain tree canopy along Lord Street while introducing native species that are more resilient to PSHB. 

Works will take place from Monday 17 August to Friday 21 August, between 7am and 3pm. We are scheduling works outside peak traffic times as much as possible. 

Single lane closures will be in place in one direction at a time, with traffic management in place to help keep everyone safe. Please allow extra time for your journey while works are underway.
