Last year, 3,591 handcrafted poppies were woven together for a stunning display outside the Vincent Administration Building. This year, we're encouraging the community to take the project into their own hands by creating and displaying poppies in the places where people live, meet and connect.

Get your school, sporting club, community group, local organisation, family or neighbours together for a poppy-making session, then turn your creations into a display of your own. Decorate a window, garden, entrance, clubroom or shared community space, and help create a tribute that blooms across Vincent this Remembrance Day.

You can also choose to donate your handmade poppies to be included in the City of Vincent display at Keith Frame Reserve from 6 to 15 November 2026.
