Upgrades to Commonwealth Avenue (Anzac Road to Chamberlain Street) will take place on Wednesday 16 July and Thursday 17 July from 7am, weather permitting. Works will include profiling and laying new asphalt. 

Road closure and bin collection

The City is aware that Wednesday 16 July is a waste collection day for Commonwealth Avenue. Collection will commence early on this day. 

Please ensure your bins are out for collection prior to 6.15am.

To enable the works to proceed smoothly road closures will be in place within the works zone. While access to properties will be restricted during these operations, residents may enter and exit under direction of traffic control and full unrestricted access will be restored at the end of each shift.
