We will be upgrading the road on Commonwealth Avenue as part of our road resurfacing program for 2025/26.
Weather permitting, we will undertake profiling and asphalting between Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 July 2025 from 7am. During works all parking within Commonwealth Avenue from Anzac Road to Chamberlain Street will be restricted. Signs will be in place. Traffic management will be on site during this time and road closures and detours will be in place.
Road closure
To keep the work running smoothly, we’ll need to close the road in the work zone. During this time, access to properties will be limited, but the traffic team will help residents get in and out as needed. Full access will be restored at the end of each work shift.
