What’s happening?

The City of Vincent is planning to resurface the section of Loftus Street from Bourke Street to Vincent Street (including the approaches at the Vincent Street intersection).

Road works will commence from 29 August to 3 September.

The work will occur over six nights from 7pm to 6am.

The work is part of the City’s 2021/22 Capital Works program.

Access to properties along Loftus Street will be restricted during the work.

Loftus Street will be closed to traffic from approximately 7pm to 6am. 

Residents of Loftus Street who need to drive from their homes during the night work are encouraged to move their vehicles out of the work zone.

It’s likely the profiling work may cause some dust and noise. Its recommended residents close windows and not use evaporative air conditioners while the work takes place.
