Ride to Work Celebrations

We are celebrating Ride to Work Week with the Vincent Bike Breakfast, on Thursday 17 October from 7am to 9am at Oxford Street Reserve in Leederville and the Bike Market on Saturday 19 October from 8am to 12pm at Barlee Street Carpark in Mount Lawley.

Ride to Work is a great national initiative to remind people that you don’t need to rely on cars to get around. We have some great cycling infrastructure in the City and in the greater metropolitan area and we want to see more commuters picking up their bikes rather than driving to work

The Bike Market attracts over 40 stallholders selling racing bikes, choppers, regular bikes for all ages, accessories and clothing. The event also raises money for the Bikes for Humanity Charity.

In addition to the Bike Market, we are also celebrating Ride to Work with a free breakfast on Thursday 18 October from 7am in Oxford Street Reserve. If you want to cycle in and grab a free breakfast that day, simply email us your RSVP so we can cater accordingly.
