As part of our road resurfacing program, we will be resurfacing Walcott Street, Beaufort Street to Guildford Road westbound. 

We plan to start profiling on 8 November and begin asphalting on 9 November. Works are scheduled to take place between 7pm and 6am.

There will be temporary traffic management and some on-street parking restrictions in place.

Residents may experience some noise from the construction works.

Road closure

Walcott Street northbound, Beaufort Street to Guildford Road westbound, will be closed during these works.

Residents will still be able to access their properties.

During the asphalt works on 9 November, there will be approximately four hours where there will be no vehicle access to allow the surface to harden.

The new surface will not fully harden for two weeks. We encourage you to take caution when driving on the surface, especially in the parking bays.
