As part of our road resurfacing program, we are asphalting Anzac Road between Shakespeare and Loftus streets in Mt Hawthorn.

Kerbing

The existing kerb will be removed and replaced between Thursday 12 March and Friday 20 March.

Works will take place between 7am and 4pm weekdays and traffic management will be on site to assist residents needing access to their property.

Asphalt Works

We plan to carry out profiling and asphalting on Monday 23 March and Tuesday 24 March.

Adjacent residents can expect some dust, noise and vibrations during these works.

Reinstatement

The speeds humps will be reinstated according to Main Road WA standards once the road surface has fully hardened.

To improve safety the parking bays will be resurfaced with red asphalt.

Road Closures

We’ll need to close Anzac Road between Shakespeare and Loftus streets during these works and a traffic team will assist residents needing access to their property. Full access will be restored at the end of each shift.

During asphalting on Tuesday 24 March, Anzac Road will be closed to all traffic for approximately four hours to allow for the hot asphalt to set.
