Councillor Sally Smith has resigned from her position as a North Ward Councillor for the City of Vincent effective from 16 October 2021.

A City of Vincent local for over 30 years, Cr Smith has watched the area grow and thrive into the vibrant community hub we enjoy today.

An active community member and passionate local advocate, her presence on Council will be missed.

The City of Vincent thanks Cr Smith for her service on Council and the community over the past two years which included navigating through the immense challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The City has advised the Western Australian Electoral Commission which will create an additional two year vacancy in the North Ward for the 16 October Local Government Elections.
