Rainbow Picnic is back at Hyde Park on Sunday 1 November for its third year, as part of PrideFest 2026.
From 2pm to 5pm, rainbow families, friends and allies can enjoy a free afternoon of activities, entertainment and time together.
There’s plenty to keep the kids busy, including mini golf, arts and crafts, face painting, a photobooth and live sketching.
On stage, you can catch a circus show, DJ Yanique, OUT Dance and the Hon. John Carey MLA Dog Show. The dog show starts at 3.30pm, with prizes for Cutest Dog, Best Rescue, Best Costume and Overall Winner.
You can also meet local LGBTQIA+ groups and organisations, including Living Proud, Transfolk WA, Rainbow Futures WA and FTRFM’s All Things Queer, and find out more about the support and services they offer.
Rainbow Picnic is a chance for our community to come together, celebrate diversity and enjoy a welcoming space where everyone can feel included.
Bring a picnic blanket and some food to share,or grab a bite from one of the food vendors.
Rainbow Picnic is delivered by the City of Vincent with support from Lotterywest.
