New toilet now open at Beatty Park Reserve

The community can now enjoy Beatty Park Reserve for longer thanks to the opening of a new public toilet next to the playground.

The City of Vincent has built a facility with two universal access toilets, a changeroom and storage area.

The toilet facing the playground is now available to the public, while the second toilet, changeroom and storage area supports local sporting clubs including Perth Azzurri Soccer Club.

This upgrade will better meet the needs of users of the space including women’s and girl’s soccer players and families who can now stay longer at the park.

It was funded by the City and the WA Government through its Legacy Grants for Women's National Premier League Clubs funding that was provided to Azzurri, following the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

This project is part of the WA Government’s PlayOn WA, an initiative to deliver 2,030 community infrastructure items across WA by 2030.

The City will improve the shared path’s safety following impacts from the new facility and investigate a future design to improve pedestrian and cyclist access.
