Help shape Vincent’s Climate Plan

The City of Vincent is developing a Climate Plan and is seeking local input.

Our community is already experiencing the impacts of climate change including hotter days, more extreme weather and altered rainfall patterns, largely driven by increasing greenhouse gas emissions from human activities.

The City’s Sustainable Vincent Framework embeds sustainability across the organisation and set targets to reduce its operational emissions.

Our new Climate Plan will aim to build on this existing work by:

  • Assessing our organisation’s energy use and emissions.
  • Developing a roadmap to continue to reduce our organisation’s operational emissions.
  • Looking at our vulnerability to the future impacts of climate change and to build our resilience as a community.

Early planning and action will help our community adapt and thrive as our climate continues to change.

We would like your views on climate concerns such as flooding, health impacts, threats to nature, energy costs, emissions and actions to guide our future planning.

Visit Imagine Vincent to find out more and have your say.

This consultation closes 4pm Wednesday, 11 February 2026.
