Have your say on the City's Smoke and Vape Free Town Centres

The City of Vincent is inviting community to share their experiences of its Smoke and Vape Free Town Centres initiative and help shape its future.

Launched in 2022 as part of the City’s Public Health Plan, Fresh Air- You’re Welcome: Smoke and Vape Free Town Centres aims to reduce community exposure to second-hand smoke and vaping and create healthier, more comfortable and inclusive public spaces for everyone.

To date, the City has taken an education-first approach across North Perth, Mt Hawthorn, Leederville, William Street and Beaufort Street.

Four years on, the City is reviewing the initiative and wants to hear what the community thinks. The survey seeks feedback on community awareness of the smoke and vape free areas, support for the areas, the clarity and visibility of signage, people’s experiences of the initiative, and interest in creating more smoke and vape free places across the City.

Feedback from community will help the City understand what is working, what could be improved and how the initiative should be supported in the future. The findings will inform future resourcing, actions and a policy paper for Council consideration.

Have your say by completing the survey at Imagine Vincent before 4pm on Monday 2 November 2026:
