GreenTrack homes deliver water and carbon savings to community

From reduced water usage to lower energy consumption, homes approved through the GreenTrack pathway are contributing to a more sustainable environment.

Vincent’s award-winning priority assessment service was launched in January 2024 and had attracted 23 applications (as of September 2025).

Homeowners and developers are eligible for rebates of up to $200 for applications that are submitted with a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and retains significant trees.

Applications are assessed within 10 days and approved in an average of 50 days, which is two weeks faster than the standard processing time.

These sustainable home builds are filled with exemplary environmentally sustainable design features and bring real cost savings and more comfortable living for residents.

They also contribute to reducing the impact of climate change in local areas.

Below are some key statistics about GreenTrack homes.

  • Produce 82 per cent fewer Life Cycle carbon emissions than the average Perth home. This significantly reduces their impact on climate change through smarter design, low-carbon materials, and sustainable construction practices.

  • Use 65 per cent less net fresh water than the average Perth home, thanks to smart design, efficient fixtures, waterwise landscaping and rainwater reuse. This results in lower water bills, greater drought resilience, and reduced pressure on shared water resources.

  • Have the potential to consume up to 40 per cent less energy annually than standard new builds. This lowers the cost of household bills and reduces reliance on fossil fuels through efficient design and renewable energy.

Vincent’s Green Design Advisors are here to help homeowners who are looking to build a sustainable home or undertake renovations.
