The City of Vincent encourages households, schools and community groups to join 400,000 people across the country on the Garage Sale Trail on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October 2019.
An award-winning community and sustainability event, Garage Sale Trail is powered by over 140 local councils nation-wide. It is expected that this year’s weekend long event will involve more Australians than ever before, who will choose to reuse at over 15,000 garage sale events to be held across the country.
The Garage Sale Trail is a fun way to remind locals that there are other options to throwing things away and we all need take responsibility for the waste we generate.
Garage Sale Trail is a great way to meet your neighbours and also provides a bit of inspiration to declutter, recycle and perhaps raise some money along the way. It’s a great excuse to go on a neighbourhood adventure, find some treasure and enjoy being part of this growing community event.
