What's Happening?

As part of the City’s commitment to improving the built environment, we will be undertaking drainage improvement works in William Street. The works include the installation of soak wells in William Street between Brisbane Street and Forbes Rd in the south bound direction.

The above works will be conducted over two (2) weekends, weather permitting, with the following dates:

Saturday 19 March 2022- 7am to 5pm,

Sunday 20 March 2022- 9am to 5pm,

Saturday 26 March 2022- 7am to 5pm,

Sunday 27 March 2022- 9am to 5pm.

Please Note

A south bound road closure on William Street will be in effect from Brisbane Street to Forbes Road on the above dates, warning signs, detours and traffic control will be in place in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards, but some delays should be expected.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience because of these works, which are intended to provide you and the community with an improved level of service.
