Draft Innovate Reconciliation Plan

Vincent's draft Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2022-2024 was endorsed for community consultation at the 21 June 2022 Council meeting.

The draft Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2022-2024 is the third Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) developed by the City of Vincent.

It has been designed in partnership with Aboriginal Elders on the Bridya Elders Group, members of the RAP Working Group, staff and stakeholder groups as well as consultation with Reconciliation Australia.

The draft RAP includes a range of actions focused around the framework of relationships, respect and opportunities with and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We'd like your ideas for how we can action some of the objectives of the plan in our local community.

You can read the draft Innovate RAP on our Imagine Vincent consultation website at imagine.vincent.wa.gov.au/reconciliation-action-plan and provide your thoughts by 5pm Wednesday 13 July 2022.

The draft RAP will also be available for viewing at the City's NAIDOC Week celebrations, and on request at our Customer Service Centre and Library.

Artwork used on the cover of the draft RAP and to promote it is Berrung by Charmaine Cole.
