The City of Vincent is proposing to add two more electric vehicle (EV) charging bays at Chelmsford Road Car Park.
The two current EV charging bays have been operating since 2024 and are experiencing high demand. The site is the provider’s second busiest charging location in Western Australia.
The proposed new bays would be located next to the existing bays in the southern section of the car park and would use the same charging provider and equipment.
The additional bays would help meet growing demand for EV charging and support the City’s commitment to increasing EV charging infrastructure in City-controlled car parks.
If the proposal proceeds, the City would amend its existing licence with the provider with an associated increase in the licence fees paid to the City.
We’re seeking community feedback on the proposal before a decision is made. Visit Imagine Vincent to find out more and have your say.
Submissions close at 4pm on Wednesday 11 November 2026.
