The response from community members, local businesses, community groups and organisations has been simply amazing.
We are seeing children fundraising through lemonade stalls and cake bakes, so many local businesses donating their proceeds, people coming together to make items for injured and orphaned wildlife and a generosity of personal donations that will have an impact on recovery and support efforts.
The City of Vincent is currently supporting the Perth Mosque to organise an inclusive cultural community gathering at Hyde Park - Perth Unites for Bushfire Relief - on Monday 27th January, and we would love for our Vincent community to take part.
The fundraiser is being organised in collaboration with Man Up, Haka for Life, Sisterhood Empowerment, Buddhist Society of WA, Corroboree for Life and Uniting Church. It will include food stalls, cultural performances and children’s activities, with more details to come.
The City of Vincent is providing in kind support for the Perth Unites for Bushfire Relief event and we are keen to provide support for community fundraising efforts in Vincent facilities and parks with in kind support, waiving of fees and promotion wherever we can.

NSW - The NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) provides the ability to donate to the RFS as a whole, or to specific brigades.
VIC - To donate to the State’s Country Fire Association, or to a specific brigade, click here.
QLD - QLD Fire and Rescue advise that donations of both money and items can be made through Givit
