As part of our road resurfacing program, we are asphalting Raglan Road between Hutt and Walcott streets.

Kerbing

New kerbing will be laid on Tuesday 18 November and Wednesday 19 November.

Expansion joints will be cut in on Thursday 20 November.

Residents and businesses can expect some minor noise during these works, which will take place between 7am and 4pm weekdays. 

Asphalt works

We will carry out profiling and asphalting on Thursday 4 December and Friday 5 December 2025. These works were originally planned for Tuesday 2 December and Wednesday 3 December.

Residents and businesses can expect some dust, noise and vibrations during these works.

Road closures

We’ll need to close Ragland Road between Hutt and Walcott streets during the works, but full access will be restored at the end of each day.

A traffic team will assist residents needing access to their property, however there might be some delays so please allow extra travel time. 

On-street parking will not be available on any of the above dates.

During asphalting on Friday 5 December, there will be a period when Raglan Road will be closed to all traffic to allow for the hot asphalt to set.
