Local community groups, not-for-profits and schools who are looking for financial support to get their environmental projects off the ground, can now apply for an Environmental Grant.

The grant program provides funding for projects that contribute to our Enhanced Environment Strategy, such as:

• waterwise ideas and initiatives (water literacy workshops)
• conservation and habitat restoration projects (native gardens, bush tucker)
• waste reduction and recycling programs (composting, circular shopping)
• environmental education and awareness campaigns (energy reduction initiatives)

We can’t wait to see your vision for a more sustainable City.

Applications are open until Monday 11 May 2026.
