History

Located in Robertson Park, Halvorsen Hall was originally built as a practice venue for the City of Perth Band in 1970.  The hall was named after the band’s conductor Harrie B. Halvorsen and used by the City of Perth Band until 1999.

In 2000, Halvorsen Hall became home to the Robertson Park Artists Studio, an independent artist-run initiative. The studio moved to Farmers Street in 2022.
