The City of Vincent is seeking community feedback on proposed changes to:

Art Collection Policy

The City of Vincent is consolidating three of its existing policies into a single Art Collection Policy.

Previously there were separate policies for Art Collections, Public Art and Murals.

Integrating these policies into a single streamlined Art Collection Policy simplifies Vincent's arts policy framework and aims to enhance community’s engagement with the arts.

The new Policy will guide how art is commissioned, acquired, managed and displayed.

In April 2025 Council approved the draftArt Collection Policy for the purpose of community consultation. 

Execution of Documents Policy

The City of Vincent has reviewed its Execution of Documents Policy.

The purpose of the Policy is to ensure documents are executed in a consistent and transparent manner, in accordance with the Local Government Act 1995.

Documents include, but are not limited to, deeds, contracts, leases and Local Laws.

The Policy sets out how these functions are required to be carried out, and who has authority for signing various documents.

In March 2025 Council approved the amended Execution of Documents Policy for the purpose of community consultation. 

As a result of this review, changes to Delegation 2.2.18 of the Delegations Register are also proposed.
