Footpath upgrades: Robertson Street, Chelsea Street and Edward Street in

As part of the City’s annual footpath maintenance program, we will be undertaking emergency footpath works within Robertson Street, Chelsea Street and Edward Street in East Perth.

Works will run from Monday 9 June until Wednesday 11 June 2025 weather permitting.

The works will involve the removal of the old slab footpath and replacement with concrete footpath and kerbing.

There will be no parking in the area. Signage will be in place and traffic management on site to direct drivers.

Road closures

To keep the work running smoothly, we’ll need to close the road in the work zone. During this time, access to properties will be limited, but the traffic team will help residents get in and out as needed. Full access will be restored at the end of each work shift.
