Remembrance Day at ANZAC Cottage

Remembrance Day at ANZAC Cottage

Remembrance Day at ANZAC Cottage will explore how the first World War Impacted the children of the time as they were “Growing Up With Gallipoli”.
This theme will be explored through the letters written by the children, the games they played and the work they did to provide comfort for the servicemen so far away.
The Cottage will be open from 4pm, with the Sunset Service beginning at 5 pm.
All the commemoration’s features will be on show, including the Fields of Remembrance, the white crosses remembering our veterans, displays showing aspects of home life during the war, the unique ANZAC Cottage story and lots of poppies.
The Friends of ANZAC Cottage thank The National Trust of Western Australia and the Community Bank North Perth for their generous support.
Entry is free, with refreshments available for a gold coin donation.
