Make a Produce Bag with the Mending Machine

Make a Produce Bag with the Mending Machine

Every year, tons of old curtains end up in landfill simply because no one knew what else to do with them. This pop-up is our answer: bring your hands (and your curiosity), and let's turn them into something useful, reusable produce bags you'll actually use at the supermarket. All materials supplied, just bring yourself.

Here's the Maths on it: at best, a compostable produce bag gets two uses, once at the checkout, then a second life as a FOGO caddy liner before it's gone for good. A reusable fabric produce bag gets used hundreds of times, no landfill trip required, and no resource cost to keep replacing it.

This is an active pop-up, no spectating allowed. Jump on the sewing machine or jump on the bike that powers it. Either way, you're part of making something.
