Rags

Rags (not dirty with oil) should be disposed of in your bulk verge collection. 

Rags which have been contaminated with oils or chemicals should be left out to dry in the sun, allowing contaminants to dry out. Once dry these rags can be stored safely until a bulk verge collection occurs

Rope

Rope should never be placed in your yellow or your green-lid bin. Rope can wrap around moving parts of the facilities and cause problems. Rope should be stored safely at home and put on the verge at the time of your junk verge collection.
