Over the past two years, l've worked to make Vincent fairer, greener and more connected. I've pushed for strong climate action, better green spaces and more active transport options.

I know the challenges our community is facing, from cost-of living pressures to housing stress, and I'm committed to practical solutions. l'm proud to champion policies that make living in Vincent more affordable. I'll continue to support our local businesses, community groups and our arts community, while ensuring planning protects both character and community.

I bring professional experience in public health policy, disability advocacy and organisational leadership.

Hello! I'm Sophie Greer, and I have been your City of Vincent South Ward Councillor for the past two years.

Our community is one of the most progressive in WA, and I know residents expect our Council to lead on climate action. As your Greens Councillor, my focus has been setting ambitious goals on sustainability, expanding tree canopy coverage, recovering from the impacts of the polyphagous shot hole borer, creating more active transport options, and supporting thriving green spaces.

I've been committed to doorknocking across our community and listening directly to your experiences of living in Vincent. It's clear that many are grateful to live here, and some are doing it tough. That's why I've been working on practical solutions, championing respectful planning decisions and stronger regulation of unhosted short-term accommodation.

I've lived in Vincent for over a decade. I've rented across South Ward and have bought my first home here. I will continue to find ways to use our collective resources to ease cost-of-living pressures. We must ensure the City of Vincent remains accessible and affordable for the families, workers, and young people who make our community so diverse.

As a member of the City's Arts Committee, I've prioritised supporting culture and community. I'm proud to back initiatives that foster our arts sector and bring world-class, family-friendly, affordable events to our City. Alongside this, I will continue supporting local businesses, community groups, and sporting clubs as we build thriving town centres and a strong community.

I look forward to bringing my experience as your Councillor, alongside my professional background in public health policy, disability advocacy, and organisational leadership, to keep delivering for Vincent.
