Accessible Parking (ACROD)
Accessible (ACROD) parking bays support people with a severe walking restriction and people who are legally blind to park safely and conveniently.
Find out where you can park using an ACROD permit, the parking rules that apply and how to obtain a permit.
Where you can park
You can park in marked ACROD parking bays across the City when a valid ACROD permit is clearly displayed on the vehicle dashboard.
Locations include:
- City of Vincent Library
- Coogee Street Carpark
- Dunedin Street Carpark
- Brisbane Street Carpark
- Loton Park (event parking for HBF Park)
- Brewer Street (near HBF Park)
- Pier Street (near HBF Park)
- Bulwer Street (near HBF Park and Gate 1 access).
ACROD permit holders may also park in other time-restricted or ticket parking areas, subject to the parking rules outlined below.
Parking rules and concessions
When a valid ACROD permit is clearly displayed:
- Parking is free of charge in designated ACROD parking bays.
- In time-restricted parking areas, ACROD permit holders may park for double the signed time limit (for example, four hours in a two-hour bay).
- In ticket parking areas where you are not parked in an ACROD bay, you must still obtain a ticket. Double the permitted time applies, including in ‘free with ticket’ areas.
Some ticket machines are not fully accessible. You may prefer to use the EasyPark app to obtain and manage parking via your mobile phone.
Who can use an ACROD parking bay
Parking in a marked ACROD bay is only permitted when:
- The driver or a passenger is an ACROD permit holder, and
- A current, valid ACROD permit is clearly displayed on the vehicle dashboard.
People using ACROD bays without displaying a valid permit may be issued with an Infringement Notice, with a penalty of up to $500.
How to obtain an ACROD parking permit
ACROD parking permits are free of charge and funded by the Government of Western Australia.
For eligibility requirements and information on how to apply, visit the ACROD website.
Accessible Parking at HBF Park
Accessible (ACROD) parking for events at HBF Park is available at Loton Park. ACROD permit holders can pre-book parking using SpacetoCo. Other payment options are available at the park entrance.

Availability and access on the day
ACROD parking at Loton Park is limited. You can still access ACROD parking on the day of an event without a booking, subject to availability.
If all ACROD parking bays are full, alternative options include:
- ACROD bays on Brewer Street, Pier Street, Bulwer Street, and in the Brisbane Street car park
- The drop-off and pick-up area at the corner of Wright Street and Bulwer Street, close to Gate 1
- Taxi and rideshare services.
Parking fees
The parking fee at Loton Park is $10 per bay, per event. This fee was set by Council to ensure that any damage to the reserve can be quickly remediated and that the long-term use of Loton Park is sustainable.
Location and entry requirements
Loton Park is located on Pier Street, East Perth, on the eastern side of HBF Park (formerly NIB Stadium). Access is via Lord Street.
To enter the ACROD parking area, you must present:
- A valid ACROD permit
- A valid photo ID matching the booking details
- A copy of your booking confirmation.
Access is available one hour before gates open for the event at HBF Park.
