Report a damaged, missing or stolen bin

Reporting bins that have been damaged, lost or stolen and require to be repaired or replaced.

If damaged, what part of the bin requires repair?

Terms and conditions
  • If a bin is damaged, then the City will assess whether it needs to be repaired or replaced.
  • Damage to wheels and lids can be fixed by replacing this item solely.
  • There is no charge to repair/replace a bin if the damage is due to vandalism or normal wear-and-tear.
  • Bins will only be replaced if the damage is beyond repair.
  • Bins must be empty to be repaired and be placed on the verge prior to 6am on the day of repair. If possible, place bin upside down on verge. 
  • This type of request cannot be anonymous.
  • Once bins are repaired or replaced with a new bin, place them on the inside of your property boundary as soon as possible.
  • 360ltr Recycling and 240ltr General Waste bins are subject to City of Vincent approval and charges apply.

A City officer will be in contact with you within two business days to confirm the next steps.
