Dogs for Sale

Dogs impounded may become available for re-homing if their owners do not claim them. Although the history of these dogs is not known, the Pound staff would generally assess the nature of dogs whilst in our care. 

Where the Pound staff believe that a dog may be suitable for re-homing, a second assessment is undertaken by either the Senior Ranger or the Co-ordinator Ranger Services, before making a decision, to ensure that the animal displays the right temperament for rehabilitation.

Although it is not a requirement of the City of Vincent that all dogs re-homed from the Dog Pound are sterilised, we do recommend that all dogs and cats be sterilised.
